MONICA MOLNAR

A graduate of Georgetown University (B.A. 2005, magna cum laude) and Boston College Law School (J.D., 2008), Monica Jo Molnar has been with Avery, Dooley, Post & Avery, first as a law clerk then as an associate upon her admission to the Massachusetts Bar in 2009, since 2008. Ms. Molnar also studied for a year at Oxford University as a member of their Visiting Students Program. Before joining the firm, Ms. Molnar worked as a research assistant to a dean and a professor at Boston College Law School preparing for an article on training law students with disabilities for practice and reasonable accommodations for attorneys under the ADA, which has been published in the Clinical Law Review. Additionally, she worked as mediation intern at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Before law school, Ms. Molnar worked as a Chief Administrative Officer for a startup advertising company.

Ms. Molnar’s practice focuses on representing federal and state employees, law enforcement officers, and managers in litigation before the Merit Systems Protection Board, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, and the U.S. District Court. These cases include defense against discipline, discrimination cases, and related employment matters.

In addition to federal employment law, Ms. Molnar practices in a variety of areas, including, insurance defense, small business formation, alternative dispute resolution, and civil litigation.
