Joseph M. Noone
Partner


Joseph Noone is a partner with Avery, Dooley, Post & Avery.  He received his undergraduate degree from The College of Holy Cross, and graduated from Suffolk University Law School in 1991.

Mr. Noone litigates in both state and federal courts.  He has extensive trial experience, having tried to jury verdict over 50 matters.  He represents individuals and companies in matters involving insurance issues, personal injury, products liability, real estate, land use and employment.  Mr. Noone also represents several lending institutions and banks in real estate matters.

Before joining Avery, Dooley, Post & Avery, Mr. Noone was an Assistant Counsel at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company where managed bad faith litigation and served as coverage counsel to the claims department.

Mr. Noone is an active member in the community of Belmont, Massachusetts where he served as a member of the Belmont Planning Board for 4 years.  Mr. Noone has also served as Chairman of the Alewife Study Committee and as a town meeting member.  He is a member of the Cambridge-Arlington-Belmont Bar Association and the Belmont Lion's
Club.  Mr. Noone also belongs to the American Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association, Middlesex Bar Association, the Massachusetts Defense Association, Defense Research Institute and Massachusetts Conveyancer's Association.
